Hi, I thought this a strong enough comment that its worth just passing
along. There are three parts so the next 2 posts are also forwards.  I would
be very interested In reading responses from empyre people about jon's view.
 I have loved this moment/movement for net based communication and an
aesthetics of interchange and shareware because of its relative respite  -
probably temporary - from the predicaments of the artist in capitalist
culture.  Of course the system perpetuates the stereotype  of the artist as
business professional together with market conditions that mitigate almost
completely against making a living:  the myth of equal access in capitalist
marketing ideology.
