Thank you for this reference, Claudia. I finally had some time to read
up on it, and it does seem quite relevant to my work. In fact, I am
surprised I didn't come across it sooner!

A number of recent game projects employ sound to create more visceral
(generally scary) experiences. Deep Sea is an audio-only game that has
